Genese Gospel will have veteran vocalist Carronne Jones Grant lead its line up of vocalist

It is also the home of a number of talented artist and musicians who have either sang background or have done a great deal of studio work. Carronne Jones-Grant is such an artist. Carronne is the daughter of ministers, musicians, producers, and National Gospel Recording artists. As a child, Carronne fell in love with all of the musical creativity around her and was a member of her church choir.  As she matured mentally and musically Carronne started to think about pursuing a solo career.

Carronne said “As long as I can remember, music has always been a part of my existence.” It wasn’t until competing in the 2005 Rising Star competition sponsored by Vicki Winans that Carronne embraced her individuality as a soloist and decided to explore a solo career. "

Now Carronne has been blessed to share her story of faith, hope, love and triumph. Some of her performances include the Baltimore Convention center, Lyric Opera house, Charm City Improv, and a host of church performances. Carronne pays homage to God for her ability and her parents for their coaching and support.

"Understanding, I am able to do what I do because of God." 

Carronne’s up coming release “Expressions” is a mix of all of the music that influenced her career. 

Carronne explains, “Good music can communicate a message that words alone can not express. That’s where the title Expressions comes from.
