Genese Gospel Web Radio will broadcast great gospel music programming. However, they also will offer blocks of advertising to their non-profit partners, business clients, and other radio show producers. “If you think you have a product or a program that you would like to advertise and don't think that Genese Gospel Radio audience is not broad enough hang on." |
Baltimore - January 14, 2008 - Genese Music and Entertainment Group started its Independent Artist and Label Services division during the summer of 2007. Since then the company has been trying to recruit seasoned talent to head the various components.
"Genese Music is a small but growing company. Because of that we didn’t think it would be possible to bring on talent from the New York area. Ron joining us completely dismisses that notion.” Camille Rogers, Director of Marketing.
Paige has been fortunate to witness and participate in a number of large scale artist marketing campaigns. He also understands the direction labels and artists need to be successful in the entertainment industry. His first priority will be dealing with artist currently signed to a Genese Music label and determining how to increase their presence in the market place.
"Before I pour my energy into developing a program for outside artist and labels we plan on taking care of home. For an Indie, Genese Music has a strong roster of artist that cover all genres. I plan on using my resources to truly see what performance avenues are currently available here in New York as well in Los Angeles. Although the Mid-Atlantic’s presence is clearly felt in the Music Industry New York and L.A. are still the mecca.” Ronald Paige, VP of Management-IALS. |

Genese Music and Entertainment Strike Deal with Baltimore Indie Label Brown FISH |
|
Sunday, 13 January 2008 01:00 |
|
Baltimore - January 13, 2007 - Between 2003 and 2007 Brown FISH created a series of CD’s entitled “ The Bootleg”. The first four bootleg CDs were well received and sold a total of 9,000 copies throughout the Washington, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. A portion of the proceeds from the sales went toward the development of a fifth release call FISH Bowl and the soon to be released DVD call FISH and friends.
Through Genese Music the Brown Fish label will be closely aligned with Obia Soul. Brown FISH will also have the benefit of access to the many internet music download aggregators such as Hudson Entertainment, Imeem, IODA, Snocap, and Indie911. They will also be featured on the soon to be created Genese Internet Radio Station “Soul on Obia”.
This is not the first time these two forces have tried to teamed up. Ralph Rogers, Genese CEO, and Jahiti, CEO of Brown Fish have known of each others business for a long time. However the growth of Genese Music During 2007 made this seem like the perfect time for Brown FISH to explore the services being offered through Genese Music’s Independent Aritst and Labels division.
Throughout the lower Mid-Atlantic Brown FISH has created a strong base of faithful followers and Genese has the marketing and the media to push them to the next level. “What truly we feed each other when there is a meeting of the minds.” This makes Obia Soul a great match for this Ghetto Conscious rhythmic poetry of the Brown Fish music group. “When the decision was made to transform our previous company to something with more modern ideals and concepts we never thought it would happen so quickly”, Ralph Rogers CEO of Genese Music.

Wesley Branch, who was the Senior Creative Technician for Genese Music, has decided to leave the entertainment industry to return to his original love of Physics.
"Like myself, a number of us fall into jobs doing things that we are good at. However, those jobs aren’t always what we envisioned ourselves doing for the rest of our lives. Coming out of Delaware State with a degree in Physics I never thought the music industry would be where I ended up. Now I know its time to take a chance on both my career and destiny." Wesley Branch.
"During a time of change for our company Wesley stepped in and took control of a number of areas. Initially he worked with the marketing team and really helped facilitate the new look and feel of the company. He will be missed", Ralph Rogers – Chief Executive Officer.
