| Carronne Jones-Grant uses Expressions to convery her thoughts exmotions and feeling about God, Family, Love, and Family. Although Carronne is a devout Christian, she strongly believes that music is an expression of ones self that should not be limited to a certain style or catergory. Expressions has its roots in satisfying the modern Christians desire to listen to music that conveys God's Lover but also addresses real human issues we come accross daily.
Expressions has also been created to appeal to everyone and not just thosewho have chosen to accept Jesus Christ into their lives.
"A person shouldn't have to choose Secular or Sacred music. I've heard over and over again that there needs to be a form of music called "Good Music" that doesn't have a label or stigma attached to it. Expressions is trying to be the foundation for this type of music. One that can openly praise God and talk about the special relationship between husband and wife. One that can tell a person how much of a friend God is to me and that I hope they find the same joy. After all, Jesus didn't limit who he told of God's plan. Why should my music?" Carronne

Friend of Mine brings new soul and jazz elements together to in this song that talks simple says God is the best friend anyone can have.
"To me Friend of Mine paints the some picture as the great poem "Foot Prints". It starts out with me asking God the questions we should ask of each of our friends. For me every time I ask the same question I wrote in the versus only God comes back with a perfect track record.
